ToMMo’s Exhibition at the G7 Science and Technology Ministers’ Meeting in Sendai
The G7 Science and Technology Ministers’ Meeting was held in Sendai from May 12 to May 14, 2023.
A technical exhibition room was set up at the Hotel Sakan in the Akiu district of Sendai, where the meeting was held. As part of the Tohoku University exhibit, ToMMo displayed a panel showing its efforts to build an integrated biobank with the purpose of achieving next-generation medicine, as well as the Japonica Array® and handy-sized urinary sodium-to-potassium ratio monitoring device (HEU-001F, OMRON HEALTHCARE). Large-scale prospective health surveys and genome analysis of the general population are a common interest in each country, and we received many enthusiastic questions from participants, including the ministers in charge of science and technology in each country.
