On September 18th , 2012, Tohoku University signed a cooperation agreement for Tohoku Medical Megabank Project with Miyagi Prefectural Government. In a cooperation agreement signing ceremony, Yoshihiro Murai Governor of Miyagi Prefecture, Susumu Satomi President of Tohoku University, and mayors in Miyagi Prefecture participated and agree with cooperation for Tohoku Medical Megabank Project.
