On the 2nd November 2023, the members from the Oulu University Hospital and BusinessOulu visited ToMMo.

The members from the Oulu University Hospital, including Dr. Miia Turpeinen, Director, and the BusinessOulu explained about industry-academia-government collaboration in the field of digital health and other areas, as well as the efforts of multi-sectoral collaboration throughout the region, while ToMMo explained our projects focused on cohort studies and biobank. The members were then taken on a tour of the supercomputer, MRI facilities, Biobank, sequencing facilities, and the Sendai Community Support Center.

The members were particularly interested in the research project on the return of genomic results and described their visit as a very impressive one.
