    Professor Masayuki Yamamoto, and Professor Kengo Kinoshita presented lectures at Symposium 2 "bioinformatics & preventive medicine" of AGING SCIENCE: from molecules to society on May 18, 2017.

    Speakers of the symposium AGING SCIENCE came to ToMMo. On May 11, Dr. Fuyuki Ishikawa (Kyoto University), Dr. Makoto Nakanishi (University of Tokyo), Dr. Yoichi Nabeshima (Foundation for Biomedical Research and Innovations), Dr. Eiji Hara (Osaka University), Dr. Vilhelm A. Bohr(National Institute on Aging, NIH), Dr. Jan Hoeijmakers(Erasmus MC Rotterdam), Dr. Elsa Logarinho(University of Porto), Dr. Tom Misteli (National Cancer Institute, NIH), and Dr. Luis J. Sigal(Thomas Jefferson University) made a visit to ToMMo. On May 19, Dr. Jean-Francois Deleuze (the Fondation Jean Dausset-CEPH), Dr. John Gallacher (UK Biobank), Dr. Tapas Kundu (JNCASR), Dr. ​Akinori Nakamura (National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology) , Dr. ​Toshiharu Ninomiya (Kyushu University), Dr. ​Takaomi Saido (RIKEN Brain Science Institute), Dr. ​Taisuke Tomita (The University of Tokyo) visited ToMMo. Following an introduction of ToMMo, they took a tour of the facilities such as Supercomputer System, Sequencing facility, Sendai Community Support Center and Biobank.
