The recipients of The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology were announced on April 8th, 2022.

Professor Kengo Kinoshita (Deputy Executive Director) won the Awards for Science and Technology, Research Category. Professor Noriko Osumi (Tohoku University Vice President) won the Awards for Science and Technology, Public Understanding Promotion Category.
