On July19th, 2013, Tohoku Medical Megabank Project Birth and Three-Generation Cohort Study (TMM BirThree Cohort Study) has been stated participants recruitment. The first step of this cohort study was visiting pregnancy at maternity facilities in Miyagi Prefecture to cooperate the cohort study.

TMM BirThree Cohort Study is family-based cohort, and this cohort is going to recruit 70,000 participants who are expectant mothers and their family, living in Miyagi Prefecture.
