As one of seminars of Tohoku Forum for Creativity thematic program “Constructing a healthy society: the road from an integrated biobank to the real world”, Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization will hold an online seminar titled “How to utilize metabolome analysis in cohort studies?”.
Recently, information on genome or metabolome was incorporated in prospective cohort studies. Metabolome will clarify the pathway from genome to phenotypes. Both Lifelines cohort and Tohoku Medical Megabank (TMM) Project obtain information on gene, metabolome, and phenotypes. In this program, we will present about recent collaborative study between Lifelines and TMM Project, and progress of Lifelines, and progress of TMM project.
