On April 11th, 2022, His Excellency Pekka Orpana, Ambassador of Finland to Japan, Mr. Kimmo Ojuva, head of trade section of Embassy of Finland in Japan paid a visit to ToMMo.

Following an introduction of ToMMo, they took a tour of the facilities such as Sendai Community Support Center, sequencing facility, array facility, biobank, supercomputer system, and cryo-electron microscopy.
Ambassador Orpana said ToMMo’s work is an important and interesting initiative for health care. they look forward to further cooperation with Finnish institutions.
