On April 19th, 2022, Her Excellency Julia Longbottom, British Ambassador to Japan and Ms. Marie-Louise Taylor, Science and Innovation Counsellor of British Embassy Tokyo paid a visit to ToMMo.

Following an introduction of ToMMo, they took a tour of the facilities such as Sendai Community Support Center, sequencing facility, biobank, supercomputer system, and cryo-electron microscopy.
Ambassador Longbottom said they would like to find any possibilities for collaboration between Japan and the UK in the life science field.
