Allele frequency data of the Japanese whole genome reference panel 8.3KJPN, constructed by Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization, has been registered and available in The Single Nucleotide Polymorphism Database (dbSNP). dbSNP is a database of human genomic variants managed and operated by National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in the United States.
Although this information has already been released from the Japanese Multilayer Omics Reference Panel Database (jMorp), the data release from dbSNP would further promote the use overseas.
