  • Group of Sequencing

The Group of Sequencing has been organizing and providing the research foundation of next-generation sequencing. So far, we have performed whole genome sequencing of over 5,000(as of April 2019) people who have participated in our cohort studies. A part of these data have been utilized not only in the design and the analysis of our Japonica Array, but also in the genome analysis of rare diseases found in Japanese patients. Through the collaboration inside and outside our institute, we will be making efforts to realize personalized medicine and disease prevention by continuing to provide research foundations for Japanese genome analysis.
