The Group of Metagenomics and Microbiome conducts DNA sequencing-based analyses of microbiota residing in biospecimens, including saliva and feces, and put the data into a metagenomics database. Recent advances in microbiome research deepen our understanding of the activity of symbiotic microorganisms in clinical importance. Therefore, our metagenomics data would be utilized in a variety of research promoting advanced medicine and personalized healthcare.
